Congratulations to our members Europa-Haus von Paris und Sonnenberg Kreis for their successful applications in der Europa für Bürgerinnen-Programm Strand 2 Measure 3 – Civil Society Projects !

DIE Paris will receive funding for their project “EUbyCITIZENS” and Sonnenberg for “My!Europa – a Citizen Project on Europe from Below"

A total of 23 projects will be supported by the Europe for Citizens programme.

During a two days meeting some of our members gathered at the IBZ Gimborn to discuss European issues and to create new working groups for our network.

The following Themen had been elaborated further and will most probably each become a working group to attract more members and to develop further the basic ideas and concepts:

• New generation in city twinning
• Active participation of youth / exchange among organisations
• Mobility
• How to introduce EU institutions
• Tool-kit on xenophobia

EUNET is launching a big contest aimed at exploring the Thema von ‘BORDERS’ mixing photos, drawings, comic strips, short clips, music etc. all in digital form.

What is your vision of the borders? How do you picture them? Are they imaginary or real?
Fan your creative flames and send us your project before March 31^st, 2015, 12am.

The best projects will be selected for our big itinerary exhibition across Europe!
