Adult Education and Health
In 2015, EAEA is looking for projects that tackle health and well-being through adult education. Recent research has demonstrated the wider benefits of adult learning, including its impact on health, e.g. BeLL project.
The EAEA is eager to award two best practice examples on this theme which combine innovation and excellence: one European and one International.

Open Education Week is a celebration of the global Open Education Movement. Open Education refers to the growing set of practices that promote the sharing of high quality, openly licensed educational resources (OER) and support for learners to access education anywhere, anytime.
The purpose of Open Education Week is to raise awareness about open education and its impact on teaching and learning worldwide. Open education encompasses resources, tools and practices that employ a framework of open sharing to improve educational access and effectiveness. Participation in all events and use of all resources are free and open to everyone.
During a two days meeting some of our members gathered at the IBZ Gimborn to discuss European issues and to create new working groups for our network.
The following topics had been elaborated further and will most probably each become a working group to attract more members and to develop further the basic ideas and concepts:

Vom 5. bis 15. Mai 2015 geben die Akteure der politischen Bildung zum elften Mal im Rahmen der Aktionstage Politische Bildung einen Einblick in ihre vielfältige Arbeit. Die Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung/bpb, der Bundesausschuss Politische Bildung (bap), die Deutsche Vereinigung für Politische Bildung e.V. (DVPB) sowie die Landeszentralen für politische Bildung laden alle Akteure der politischen Bildung herzlich ein, die Aktionstage 2015 mitzugestalten.
The European Parliament has set up a new blog listing the latest digital resources that are free to use. Updated around the clock, this page informs you what images, infographics, videos and photos are available for you to download as soon as they become available.
Not only are these materials free to use, they are also often available in all of the EU’s 24 official languages, from Bulgarian to Swedish.
The high quality editorial products are ready to be embedded, published or broadcast on websites and on social media.
