Congratulations to our members Maison de l’Europe de Paris and Sonnenberg Kreis for their successful applications within the Europe for Citizens programme Strand 2 Measure 3 – Civil Society Projects !

ME Paris will receive funding for their project “EUbyCITIZENS” and Sonnenberg for “My!Europe – a Citizen Project on Europe from Below

A total of 23 projects will be supported by the Europe for Citizens programme.

Congratulations to ME Yvelines and BBAG

Europe for Citizens 2014Congratulations to our members Maison de l’Europe des Yvelines and Berlin-Brandenburgische Auslandsgesellschaft (BBAG) for their successful applications within the Europe for Citizens programme Strand 2 Measure 2.2 – Networks of towns !

ME Yvelines will receive funding for their project “CitiPart – Cities’ Partnership against extremism and populism” and BBAG for “Together for a better netWORKing – Jugendarbeitslosigkeit versus Fachkräftemangel

Both projects were chosen out of 164 applications. A total of 20 projects will be supported by the Europe for Citizens programme.

CONTEST BordersBORDERS is a contest aimed at exploring the topic of ‘BORDERS’ mixing photos, drawings, comic strips, short clips, music etc. all in digital form.

EUNET working groups: what’s next?

Gimborn Working Groups for Europe February 2015_18_250pxDuring a two days meeting some of our members gathered at the IBZ Gimborn to discuss European issues and to create new working groups for our network.

The following topics had been elaborated further and will most probably each become a working group to attract more members and to develop further the basic ideas and concepts:

  • New generation in city twinning
  • Active participation of youth / exchange among organisations
  • Mobility
  • How to introduce EU institutions
  • Tool-kit on xenophobia
