The EU launched a new transparency tool in the field of higher education: the European Tertiary Education Register (ETER). This new register concentrates data from 2 250 higher education institutions, in the European Union and 8 other countries, and is updated regularly.
ETER aims to help on the one hand policy makers to better manage European higher education systems and on the other hand, to give universities the possibility to compare and cooperate with each other.
The first results of ETER can be found on the ETER website
