Planspiele in der Politische Bildung: Der EU auf der Spur

Das Europahaus Aurich lädt Sie in Kooperation mit der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung/bpb, dem CIVIC-Institut für internationale Bildung und der Deutschen Vereinigung für Politische Bildung e.V. (DVPB) ganz herzlich zu dem Didaktik-Workshop “Planspiele in der Politische Bildung: Der EU auf der Spur” vom 4. bis 6. März 2015 ins Europahaus Aurich ein.

Das Ziel des Workshops ist es, Planspiele zu aktuellen Themen in Europa kennen zu lernen und selber auszuprobieren. Der methodische Zugang zum Thema Europa über Planspiele bietet viele Vorteile: Handeln in Institutionen, Kooperation und Wettbewerb, Einfluss von Politik, das Zusammenwirken von Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft werden für Schülerinnen und Schüler auf spielerische Weise anschaulich und nachvollziehbar.

EUNET Working Groups for Europe

EUNET is organising a working session “Working Groups for Europe″ from February 16th to 18th 2015 at the IBZ Schloss Gimborn (Germany).

What are the aims ?

a: to discuss current issues with a view to establishing concrete working groups
b: to be a catalyst for strengthening activism and ownership (trigger ideas, link participants’ activities and projects together etc.); and
c: to come up with new creative solutions (how to involve, inform, motivate and mobilise the various actors where participants see the need etc.).

What do we want to achieve?

The final goals are to implement new working groups and projects in our structure, to enhance the collaboration between our members as well as with external partners and to make our network more lively. In addition to that we want to get ready for the challenges Europe is facing, exchange best practices and jointly develop new ideas.

Save the date: EUNET General Assembly 2015

The General Assembly of EUNET 2015 will take place from October 22nd to 25th 2015 at Hotel Königgut in Wals near Salzburg (Austria).

We will return to the place of the 2007 General Assembly for our annual conference which will deal with two important moments in history: the end of the Second World War and the Schuman declaration and their impact on today’s Europe. Hopes and dreams have been raised 70 and 65 years ago. Have those hopes have become true, and what is still to be done for bringing Europe closer to its citizens?
Less lectures, more interactive parts and new working groups will be in the centre of the programme which will start on the 22nd with a joined dinner and will end on the 25th after lunch.

Waves of Democracy 2015: registration is now open

On behalf of IUC–Europe and Centre for Culture, Alsion, we would like to invite young Europeans to Sønderborg, in the summer of 2015 to develop a platform for dialogue, intercultural exchange and networking in Europe.
The Summer Academy will address current challenges in culture and politics by using a variety of advanced tools and methods, and set up new models for discussing and narrating Europe. The seminar week will include workshops, study visits, excursions, creativity and performance.
