Der Fokus liegt auf der Förderung der Politikkompetenz von Menschen mit Lernschwierigkeiten.
European perspectives on gender equality and girls* specific youth education.
Sonnenberg Kreis is looking for partner organisations to complete the partner constellation for the International project ‘Sound it out! International perspectives on gender equality and girls* specific youth education’ to be held in Germany (International House Sonnenberg, St. Andreasberg) and Croatia (Zagreb) in 2016. The project is to be implemented within the Erasmus+ Program.
Project idea
After gaining first experiences in international out of school education for girls* in 2014 and 2015 we now want to implement a project with different connected modules. We will complement the existing elements (multipliers seminar and girls* camp) with 2 modules for persons who are more in charge for the organisational and/or pedagogical parts in such projects or in the basic work of the participating organisations. The long-term objective is to build a solid transnational network between organisations who are or want to be involved in international educational work for and with girls* and young women.

EU action and Member States’ cooperation in the field of education and training is framed in a work programme – the Education and Training 2020 Strategic Framework (ET2020), which contains four strategic objectives and seven benchmarks.
Following a mid-term evaluation, the Draft 2015 Joint Report of the ET2020 proposes new work priorities up to 2020. Highlighting the need to pursue a comprehensive lifelong learning approach, from early childhood education to adult education, the report rightly stresses the role played by education to contribute to employment and growth objectives as well as to building a fairer and more cohesive and democratic society.
EUNET also welcomes the emphasis being placed on good governance and the need to reinforce partnerships with social partners and civil society. It thus supports its formal adoption by the Education Council in November.

ET2020 Draft 2015 Joint Report
Summer is over and it’s time to go back to school. The timing of school year varies between different countries and regions more than you may imagine because of differences in culture, tradition, and climate. In the Eurydice special report on the school calendar, you’ll find information that shows how the year in European schools is organised.
The information is available for 37 countries.
The report contains national data on the length of the school year, the start and the end dates of each school year, and the timing and length of school holidays. It covers both primary and secondary education.

Es kann etwa von Schulen beim Europahaus Graz angefordert werden, wird aber natürlich auch allen anderen Interessierten kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt, solange der Vorrat reicht!
