ME Nîmes – L’avenir énergétique en Europe

ENERGIE / EUROPE / RENCONTRE / FRANCE-ALLEMAGNE-POLOGNE

EU EnergieDu 29 septembre au 05 octobre, la Maison de l’Europe de Nîmes invite 30 jeunes français, allemands et polonais (18 – 25 ans) dans le cadre d’un projet européen à Villeneuve-lez-Avignon dans le Gard. Pendant une semaine, les participants vont travailler dans une ambiance résolument européenne sur « L’avenir énergétique en Europe ».

Grâce au soutien financier de l’Office franco-allemand pour la jeunesse, les frais de participation sont très modestes (90€) pour les participants français.

EYCA conference “EU Citizenship: Crossing perspectives” in Zagreb

EYCA conference Zagreb 2013EUNET participated in the EYCA Conference on “EU Citizenship: Crossing Perspectives” in Zagreb.

150 representatives from national and European organizations across Europe reflected on EU citizenship and shared their experience and vision of belonging to a European project with a particular focus on Croatia and its neighboring countries.

EYCA working groups met the following day. EUNET is member of working group 1 (Participatory Citizenship and Civil Dialogue). The aim is to come up with an action plan with concrete proposals to be presented in Vilnius at the final conference of the Year on 12-13 December.

EYCA Conference in Zagreb: What does EU Citizenship mean?

Europe-cloudsOn 8 July, 150 European citizens, gathered together by the European Year of Citizens’ Alliance (EYCA) – of which EUNET is part – will exchange views and experiences in a European conference entitled: “EU citizenship: Crossing perspectives”.

The event will take place in Zagreb, the capital city of the EU’s 28th Member State to debate EU citizenship and to engage with the core question of citizens’ participation in Europe. Read the press release.
