In the framework of the revision of the Europe 2020 strategy, a consultation has been launched by the Commission to collect stakeholders’ views on the lessons learned from the early years of the Europe 2020 strategy and on the elements to be taken into account in its further development, in order to build the post-crisis growth strategy of the EU.

IBZ Gimborn sucht neue(n) Direktor(in)
Zum 01.08.2014 oder später ist die Stelle der Direktorin / des Direktors für das Informations- und Bildungszentrum Schloss Gimborn neu zu besetzen.
Das Informations- und Bildungszentrum Schloss Gimborn ist eine internationale Bildungseinrichtung und ein Tagungshaus im Herzen des Bergischen Landes (30 Auto- Min. von Köln). Die Tagungsstätte, in Trägerschaft des IBZ Schloss Gimborn e.V., wurde 1969 von der International Police Association gegründet und wird noch heute u.a. von dieser großen internationalen Institution genutzt und unterstützt. Seit vielen Jahrzehnten werden dort für alle Interessierten erfolgreich Seminare entwickelt und veranstaltet, sowie Tagungs-, Konferenzräume und Gästezimmer angeboten.
IBZ Gimborn - Stellenausschreibung Direktor(in)Programme Guide of the Europe for Citizens Programme 2014-2020
Following the adoption of the Europe for Citizens Programme 2014-2020 the new Europe for Citizens Programme Guide has been published in the 23 working languages of the European Union.
Please be aware that for 2014 the first deadline for the submission of project proposals had to be postponed and will be the 4th June 2014 for projects on European remembrance (strand 1) and for town-twinning projects and networks of towns (strand 2).
The second deadline will be the 1 September 2014 covering town-twinning, networks of towns and civil society projects.

2015 will be the European Year for Development – “Our world, our dignity, our future”
The European Union’s Foreign Affairs Council gave the green light to designate 2015 as the European Year for Development.
The motto of the year will be “Our world, our dignity, our future”.
On that occasion, Development Commissioner Andris Piebalgs stated that the European Year will provide “an unparalleled opportunity for us to engage with EU citizens, to showcase our strong commitment to eradicating poverty worldwide and to inform them how every euro of support helps to make a difference in the lives of so many, in some of the world’s poorest countries.“
